IPL should be given a break!
Twenty20 cricket tournament Indian Premier League (IPL) was hit by spot-fixing and
betting scandal in
2013. Giving a crucial verdict in the scandal Supreme
Court-appointed Justice Lodha committee has suspended Chennai and Rajasthan teams from IPL for 2
years. Rajasthan's co-owner Raj Kundra, and former CSK official and ICC chief
N Srinivasan's son-in-law, Gurunath Meiyappan have been banned from cricket for life. Justice Lodha's verdict somehow also justifies the demands that IPL should be banned or given a break
till it becomes free from controversies. What is your opinion on IPL's
future post this significant decision which
certifies that all is not well within the IPL.
